This class is intended to help you develop (or reinforce) a good foundation with your horse. So often our horses come with bad habits, or maybe pick them up from us. Often, undesired behavior comes from a lack of basic communication between horse and human. A huge element in our horsemanship is our ability to clearly communicate with our horses. Until we learn to effectively do that, we will typically run into regular problems. By using exercises designed to develop control over all of the parts of the horse (head and neck, shoulders, barrel and hindquarters), and learning to communicate in a way that our horse understands, we can systematically produce a calm, confident and safe horse that is a pleasure to ride.

This class will have a relaxed, low stress atmosphere that will teach and practice riding fundamentals and builds on the previous ground work series.
